After a week of rainy and sloshy muddy runs, the Alpharetta XC team traveled to Region 5 7A 5K course at Boling Park to race at the Warpath Invitational hosted by Cherokee HS. Alpharetta runners raced and pushed themselves to new personal records, season bests, and more importantly they worked on their racing mindset. Many new-to-the-sport runners dropped one to two minutes off of their times from the Bob Blastow meet that was held over a little less than a month ago. Looking forward to training in cooler weather with a month out from Region.
Boys: Zach Johnson, Tyler Neal, and Cole Adkisson all personal recorded on Saturday.
Girls: The JV girls squad races all under 25 minutes! Lior Manor personal recorded by 2 minutes and 24 seconds. Olivia Fishman dropped 3 minutes and 28 seconds off her current season 5K time. Bailey Roner broke 21 minutes with racing a 20:52.
